Rockin' Sunday

SO... today I got excercise. The Best Buy w/ Guitar Hero 2 display is ~2 miles north from me. So I went on a journey around 11. Stopped and browsed at Toys R Us, the mall, and Target. When I got to my Best Buy destination I camped out.

There were only 8 songs to play when I got there. And all the newbies played 'Shout at the Devil' (first one on the list). I figured the store workers were tired of listening to the same thing over and over, so I figured I'd unlock songs for them. Did it on easy mode because I figured newer players could still try to unlock more ( if I did it again I would go with Medium... more songs unlocked, I wouldn't be bored out of my mind, and the upper Easy ones are hard to a beginner anyway!). I increased the library to 16 songs.

Would a done more, but I took time out to get people who were watching to play (and try out 2 player mode at the same time). Two player mode is fun! Have to watch out for really young ones cause if you do cooperative you share a bar... if your partner doesn't hit their notes you fail.

Didn't get paid other than practice, but I ended up helping mom's find all the gear they needed for their kids to rock out at home. I asked a store worker if I was being a bother. He said "No, if anything you're selling these for us cause people like to see how the thing works before they buy it". He was even thinking of leaving the game on overnight so it's memory wouldn't be wiped clean (and then they would have to listen to the same 8 songs all over again).

At 6ish I figured it was time to return to my abode (after getting totally thrashed by a 10 year old!) To unlock the bonus songs I would have to play through on medium, and that was gonna take too long. TIme to save it for another day... so I put my guitar down and walked out the store.
