Way to go Rose on the front page of our webpage. I like that title page.

Next week we're headed to Lincoln, NE. Don't know that I've been there before. I've kind of purposefully avoided traveling through Kansas and Nebraska, but we'll see how it is. I had similar thoughts about Boise, ID, but that happens to be a city I really like now.

So I go with no expectations. However, I am looking forward to seeing their capital building. It is built like a skyscraper. Reminds me of those old sci-fi films in the 20s and 30s. Very classic looking architecture, but strectched out into a grand skyscraper. oh well.

Waiting for my parents to arrive on Saturday. It will be nice to see them before we go. And also hoping to get in some tennis tomorrow! It's been several years since I've played. I don't even have a pair of sneakers anymore...hmmm.

Back to the Outdoors

Yesterday I helped mowed someone's lawn. It was a huge lawn, but I didn't mind. Maybe it's been so long since I've had to do it it has novelty right now. Anyway, I liked the physical work.... weed eater(arm about to fall off) ... push mower(with autopull that kept the wheels turning even after it was disengaged).

Rose came out with the kids and I for an evening walk through the golf course. It was nice to have someone to talk to while the kids threw rocks in the creek, and pointed out fireflies.

Here's when we need to be back in Stillwater, so we can go to Lake Carl Blackwell and just hike along the path... kids collecting rocks and looking for bugs. Don't have to keep an eye on traffic or golfers. oh well

Biff Zok Crrrunch

Over the past few weeks my daughter has started to use sound effects. :))

She has been copying me. I didn't realize I did them that often, but apperently when I hand out juice cups or pick up the kids, etc I make a sshwih sound. Now listening to Jamie you'd think she is the Flash! *pick up the juice *swhih *Take Cian's toy* shwish *get picked up* shwi.

Yay I get Friday off! I get paid time off and I don't have to use leave!! I have to thank Reagan for dying and Bush for giving government employees a day off. Perhaps I'll think of Reagan as I play tennis or relax at the pool.

Sorry for the delay

Something has been going around in OKielahoma. It must have been a week or so that Rose and I have had any real restful sleep. The kids have been good at waking up at alternating times. A few days with a fever were really bad, but now they are early to bed and early to rise.

It sure is great to have your kids in bed at 9 PM or even 8, but when they wake up at 2AM and it's party time! ARGH

Oh well getting back in the swing of things.

Justin's Swingin' Report Blog

Finally out of class. This Tuesday I finished my last radar course... for the time being anyway. I never thought that I would feel like I was back in school while at work. It's one of those learning never stops things. And compared to college...getting PAID to leaern rather than dishing out the cash is really nice.

Tuesday I also had a package arrive from a friend. It contained Space Channel 5. Rose and I played the two player mode that night! I expected it to be a walk in the park video game, but it's really similar to the mildly frustrating SIMON. Deceptively simple, but can get really complex.
