Been a long time

Being in charge of overseeing testing on a radar can keep you busy. Some of it was tedious, but I don't think I have anything to complain about. My biggest gripe is that the radar site has to be well air conditioned... which means I have to wear a coat.
Having a chance to go outside and change what is being done everyday is something I like. So being that I haven't been in the office very much recently I haven't posted much either.

*microphone squelch* Also here to do a shout out to my girl... Rose!!! *crowd noise* Today is her Birthday!!! *cheering* Just wanted to wish her a HAppy Birthday and sing her *crowd cheers* and sing her a song..... it goes something like this..... 'Happy birthday to you... *crowd covers up rest*

Love you Rose.

Mission Accomplished

It's been a while for an update. I know there are things I wanted to blog but I have probably forgot them now.

This weekend we went over to the Wichita Mountains, 'Climbed' Mount Scott, and drove through Medicine Park. It was a great day to be outside. Once up to the top we picked a spot to picnic ( and out of the way spot as they had some classic car groupies hanging out in the main parking lot... car show maybe?). Jumped a few rocks. Walked down the road a bit so I could show Rose the entrance to where I had been climbing before (w/ Boy Scouts, explorers, and Matt, Ben, and April).

the kids enjoyed climbing around on the rocks. We REALLY had to watch Cian. The boy was fearless and was frequently misjudging the grip he had on his Burkenstock-like sandals!! Lots of hand holding! As for Jamie... she, unlike cian did not sleep on the way over, so the wind and unfamiliar terrain had her wanting held a lot. she climbed a few rocks by herself.

As Rose and I picniced the kids decided to stay in the car where they could pretend to drive and climb and be out of the wind. We saw buffalo and Longhorns and plenty of vultures.

We will definitly come back!
