I meant to post here earlier, but haven't. Work, being that I take calls when people need help, has been rather busy during the time of year people in the FAA have limited time to egt stuff done. In between all the moritoriums (times when people aren't supposed to mess with the radar unless it's broke... done to ensure fewer outages during the holidays) people want maintenance, etc done.
So far I have been doing research on birds and atmospheric events. I like it. lots of interdisplinary stuff going on. Audobon meets weather man meets radar technician.
Ready for Xmas.... don't want the drive, but want to be down visiting family. The kids are ready too. this weekend marked our first venture to taking the kids to Santa. Cian shook the man's hand, but he wasn't going to sit next to him for any length of time. Jamie had a long talk with him, but she won't tell us anything other than that! It's like playing charades... or Guess Who.... insert guessing game here. "So what did Santa say to you?" 'He talked to me' The only thing else I've gotten out of her is that he told her to take a coloring book.
