Back to School Picnic/meeting fun

Jamie's school had a 'Back to School Cookout/PTSO Meeting' today. It was supposed to be a picnic, rained a little before... stopped during eating and meeting... POURED when we got home. So much so that Cian was absolutely drenched from walking from the car to the house (hanging out under the gutter that doesn't work didn't help. :D

Anyway... thought I'd share a story Jamie's teacher told me today. Being a kindergartern teacher you hear all sorts of things. Today Jamie was drawing a Fish for the letter 'F' (amazing that it wasn't a bird!! Jamie has a portfolio full of them, and was particulary pleased when they did the letter 'O' so she could draw an owl! ) The teacher complimented Jamie on her fish who then informed her teacher that it was a piranha! Her teacher said she was scared, but Jamie informed her, "don't worry, it's only a picture."
